SAN FRANCISCO (November 22, 2016) – HappyCo today announced that its customers have used its flagship Happy Inspector mobile app to take 25 million photos as part of their inspection processes. These time-stamped, automatically collated photos are a key feature of the Happy Inspector platform, which leverages mobile technology, cloud storage, digital photography and data analysis to help companies optimize property inspections and operations audits — from multifamily apartment complexes to commercial real estate, construction, hospitality and more. HappyCo recently announced a $7.5 million funding round and was named to Owler's "Hot In San Francisco" list of innovative companies.
"Photos are a key component of any thorough inspection because they give companies a way to visually document the conditions of their facilities," says HappyCo CEO Jindou Lee. "Unfortunately, most inspection processes don't include seamless photo integration, which is why we made that capability a top priority from day one. Our customers have now taken more than 25 million photos and are using them to improve property conditions, reduce their risk of Slip and Fall, minimize customer disputes and build their reputations for quality and service."
HappyCo also announced that Tarragon Property Services has deployed a full integration with Yardi, a leading provider of property management software. Tarragon, a prominent development, leasing and management company based in Seattle, is now able to import data from all of its units to Happy Inspector directly from Yardi's interface.
According to Tarragon Regional Manager Shelly Gil, "HappyCo has been a tremendous help with streamlining our move-in and move-out inspections. We not only are eliminating paper, but are able to provide residents with move-out charges and photos instantly. Integration was simple and HappyCo employees did all the leg work, so our entire portfolio was up and running in weeks. The automatic upload and attachment to Yardi is fantastic, and our site staff is amazed at the real-time updates."
