HappyCo offers a phone and internet benefit for our remote, full-time employees. “Remote” is defined as those employees who are not expected to work from one of our HappyCo offices. This means remote employees can use up to $100/month towards their phone and/or internet bill.
HappyCo knows our Product, Design and Engineering teams need quiet time to focus on building our products to support our customers, so we provide these teams with a noise canceling headphone stipend.
HappyCo employees can access their 20 days of annual leave, in addition to all Federal & State holidays for the state employees are located in, PLUS we recognise a few more. For example, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve – adding an extra 10% of leave per year!
HappyCo values our employees' personal lives and family. We offer a generous family/medical leave benefit should there be a time when leave is needed. Employees who are eligible may take up to 4 weeks fully paid leave and 12 months unpaid leave.
While HappyCo does have core hours in which we would like all employees to be available, we also understand that other priorities outside of work pop up from time to time. Doctors appointments, school runs, whatever it may be.
Believe it or not, before this crazy little thing called COVID, HappyCo enjoyed getting together in person to have some fun! Bringing the company together is important in forming connections within our team, and helps us balance work and play.
Previous retreats include Cancun, Bali, and Tahoe. More recently the US team met up at a Work Week in Carlsbad, CA, and the Australian team held a mini-retreat in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.
When safe to do so, we'll continue planning HappyCo retreats in new and exciting places.
